Some of you may remember hearing about the impromptu Mini-NARP held at my house a few weeks ago, attended by myself, Tino, power-glove and Nintendoll. Now, for want of a proper NARP, I'm once again taking advantage of my parents being away on holiday and opening up my house on Long Island for all you NYC/NJ/Long Island Dtoiders out there.

Here's the skinny:

My friends and I recently undertook the task of completely re-decorating and properly utilizing the previously neglected space in my house's basement. The end result is a Basement Gaming Den, complete with three TV's, two surround sound systems, comfy couches, around a dozen gaming consoles, and a retro 80's decor. After all that work, I'd be remiss to -not- offer to share this space with you fine dwellers of the intarwebs. Therefore, on August 16th, I'm going to do just that: NARPing will commence at 9 PM.







But that's not all! Earlier in the day on that same date, I'm encouraging everyone to meet me in NYC at Central Park for a FREE concert at 2 PM with performances by Battles and Black Dice, two of my favorite bands.

Then, after the NARP, I'll be going to a SECOND free concert, this time played by Aesop Rock at the McCarren Park Pool in Brooklyn. I encourage you all to join me here as well. Let's make a whole weekend out of it, no?

So, in summation:

8/16 - Central Park concert w/ Battles & Black Dice @ 3 PM
8/16 - NARP at my place @ 9 PM: Beer, games, good times. Also, cocks.
8/17 - Aesop Rock at McCarren Park Pool @ 2 PM
