It'd be a fucking awesome little indie game if it wasn't so mechanically broken. The effort score goes up when you hit grey stars, down when you hit coloured stars, but regardless, it just keeps going down and down no matter what you do, which I took personally because I was trying really hard to not turn the game off. The protected zones don't work, there seems to be a score multiplier that goes off every few seconds and that doesn't help when you have a negative score... and it crashed once.
But still, brilliant style, very endearing and great work for a day. Extend that to a week and you've got an excellent little indie title.
@Zen: Thanks for posting, dude!
@UglyDuck: Sorry it didn't work out perfectly for you. I will definitely take your feedback into account if I ever make a revision. When did it crash for you? And thanks for the kind words.
Might sound like a cop out, but all of the scores, etc don't really matter. It's all about taking those yellow stars back to your friend. I'm considering writing some sort of postmortem in the next week or so to explain my thoughts and intentions behind the game (pretentious, I know).
on mac. shrug.
