If you're going to be pounding the hell out of the controller playing Fighting Game #672 and Rough Figher Mega #229, it might as well be a nice big plastic one. BEHOLD! The Fighting Stick Wii!

It looks like it has all sorts of custom settings (like TURBO and MORE BETTER TURBO) up there in the row of switches. It's boxy as hell, but I think it only adds to the crappy retro style. It looks like something that fell straight out of Buck Rogers or the old Battlestar Galactica.

Me like.

I don't like arcade sticks for 2D fighters but I don't mind them for 3D fighters, I know I'm weird. SNK fighting games are 4 buttons which makes the classic controller perfect for it in my opinion. I like how the arcade stick keeps in theme with the Wii.

I like a 2D F'er from time to time but not enough to throw money down on this.

I never understood the need for one of these. Of course I was never an arcade fighter player so I'm guessing the benefits are just lost on me.
