So, how many parallels to LOST can you spot in this Dead Island trailer? Here's what I caught:
1. Eye opening shot
2. Deliberate piano music
3. Three shifting time lines a) In reverse b) Forward c) Flashback
4. On an island
5. Full of beautiful dead people
It's a great trailer, but I can't see this sort of treatment lasting an entire zombie killing game. I'd love to be proven wrong! But I do hope the trailer's director gets a gig on Walking Dead.
That was pretty cool actually. And I think any resemblance to the amazing show LOST is intentional. I don't think they intentionally created the resemblances to get a few extra hits. I think they would have intentionally done it just to show off that they are fans of the show themselves.
The graphics look amazing and I'm actually surprised that they show dead children. It's illegal over here in the states. Just look at Fallout 3.
