Well DToiders, I just got back from a midnight showing of, you guessed it, The Dark Knight.
Did it live up to expectations? Read on to find out.
To put it bluntly: The Dark Knight, in my opinion, is the best movie I've ever seen. I had very high expectations after waiting 3 years to see it after the masterpiece that is Batman Begins. I hoped with all my heart the hype would be justified; Was it? Yes, and much, much more.
Christian Bale redelivers the great feeling of anxiety and calmness while struggling to hold the lifestyles of Bruce Wayne and Batman.
I'm going to warn you: There are plot twists you won't expect. These are twists that will make you wonder what world Gotham is being turned into in Nolans head, and if a single man can handle all this. However, Nolans Batman can do it. He has proven that even the smartest people will have things happen that will tear apart a plan. Ledger delivers an amazing performance outshining Nicholson 110%, and I think we will hear the same straight from Nicholsons mouth soon enough. He truly doesnt represent the Joker; he IS the Joker in this movie.
If you thought about seeing this, go see it. You wont regret it. I am writing this, so that you know how good this damn movie is. I blogged at 3 in the morning, and have been up for a little over 27 hours. This movie is that good. I promise it will be worth every second of your time, and worth every cent you pay for the ticket.
I love this movie so much.
And how did you beat me? I was alone at the top there for a bit...
Glad someone enjoyed it as much as I did. Kudos.
=D

going again tomorrow (friday) and again on sat!
Great though.
