Rock Band Price = Friendship?

Liu Kang is elated is at the news of today's announced pricing of Rock Band. But, should he be?

From the get-go, I thought I had a flawless way to pinch some pennies in the wake of both GH III's and Rock Band's close releases:

Game = $59.99
Drums = $79.99
Guitar = Free, via Guitar Hero
Mic = Free, use your 360 headset

Suddenly it ain't so costly, running me a much smaller price of $140, compared to the rumored $200. Now that the news has hit, is it really worthwhile to skip out on $30 for another (better) guitar, as well as an official mic?
