Yards Prower's Balls: For Kids!
Yards Prower | 1:46 PM on 08.13.2008 6 comments

Today we will discuss color. Now, you know that I don't see race. But I do see the 16 million+ colors that my TV and monitor can display...

So why is it when developers try to get your money's worth out of your TV, people complain?

Just like with Halo 3, same thing with Diablo III... Color automagically makes everything less hardcore and more kiddy...

Well, let me tell you one thing... The darkest things happen in the brightest places... That only makes them even more creepy...

Imagine having the Joker run around and do what he does in broad daylight? It was once only the darkness to be afraid of but now we have the daylight to worry about as well...

And seriously, what's more ironic than Death & Rainbows? Besides being an awesome band name (do they exist?)...

Real men play with their Wii's and Boom Blox, with it's colorful, exploding goodness! Anyone can play Gears, Resistance, Resident Evil, and other 'hardcore' monochrome titles and claim manliness.

With that, I end my pointless rant with these puzzling words: Staple remove

Death & Rainbows is pretty good band name. I like "Dead Baby Birds" or "Baby Dead Birds" more though.

Just to let you know, the Monthly Musings tag is specifically for articles that are part of the topic of the month. See: http://www.destructoid.com/elephant/index.phtml?t=monthly+musings

Also, I'm confused.

Wait... I selected Monthly Musings?

First the forum 'time warping' my posts and now the wrong tags being selected?!? (off topic)...

I wonder if it's just my browser being retarded (Firefox 3 Mac)

bah, I should wait till I'm home instead of posting during lunch/tea breaks...

*fixed*

But there's literally 16+ million shades of brown and gray in some of these new games? Isn't that color?

Why did I state that in the form of a question?

The world...may never know.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?

Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
