Warhawk, has been shelved for the powerhouse that is GTA IV. Keep in mind this is in response to cries of adding it on our lineup. Now that's not to say that
Warhawk wont come back to PS3 FNF, that's really all up to you. If you want it back it shall be. But keep in mind we still have
Wednesday Night Warcawks for our usual aerial shenanigans. Now let us look to tonight and see how it's going to go down.
Mr.Sadistic's requires your attendance in his little shop of horror that is called Unreal Tournament 3. Load up your mods, your skins and let's see how many Master Chief's or Old Snakes there going to be for Sadistic to blow away.
The Time to be there will be 8pm EST. Mr.Sadistic will be Hosting. He'll be the one with twenty more kills than you if your good. If your bad..make that 50 more kills than you. May hap you may be the one to challenge and dethrone his winning streak. Hasn't happened yet.. but who knows?
This be my territory. No need to worry with me. I'm not an exceptional killer. But that's why I have others that stand by me on the field of combat that more than make up for my combat inadequacies. Devil dogs like Samit, Ponyboy, Dark Travesty, 311, Naib, Santana Claus, Takeshi, Brainderailment, Corak, Gameboi, Dark Travesty and perhaps Brainderailment finally got off work on the weekend and will grace us with his presence. Duh ), accept his invite and prepare for the mayhem of Cops n Crooks and the Mafiya multiplay. We're gunning for a 16 player match and if we have more, additional hosts will be added.
Additionally Shipero before performing his hosting duties for GTA IV will be lurking in seedy online bars, trying to make a name for himself in ROCK BAND. He may need your help in this endeavour. Another thing, Qraze and some others may be playing the Metal Gear Beta as well. If you choose to roll with him look for him on your friend's list or leave your PSN tag and intentions below.
I know I go through this every PS3 Friday Night Fights and today it's not going to change. If you haven't yet experienced the awesomeness that is Destructoid PS3 Friday Night Fights do yourself a favor and leave your PSN tag and join us. I hope we have a decent amount of people for Cops n' Crooks. 3v3 is pretty cool but imagine 8v8. Also, as a person that prefers playing as the crooks I have to say Fuck tha Police.

I know I one was of the few that had issues when signing up and Neiro had to free up my e-mail address so I could sign up again but I wasn't able to use the original user name.

Well my copy of GTA decided to freeze while saving which I believe corrupted my save file. Now it won't load, I'm out.
I will be there for GTAIV and MGO. psnID is manta89. Also, I'm available for some Rock Band, but my guitar is dead and I'm a terrible singer. Luckily I can play expert drums :)

Yep, deleted all my game data, and reinstalled still won't load. Can't find my receipt to return it, so I'm going to drink and watch TV instead.
damn. i can't play a thing tonite, my hands are fuct up from putting on lathe and stucco. i'm cut so many places i had to submerge my arms in mineral spirits then peroxide. so mgo is far far above what i'm able to press and enjoy. its a movie night for me. THE PAIN!! and #1_in_the_hood_G!!

It's loading now but randomly freezing during gameplay. I guess that's an improvement.
true, that is atleast a step up.
my copy freezes aswell but not very often, and even then its never stayed frozen. it just picks up where it left off after awhile.
And now it's not loading again but Hot Shots Golf is. So I guess I'll play that until I can finally get through to Rockstar Customer Support.

I have other things to play so I'm not too mad but I was really getting into GTA IV so this is really disappointing.
I feel the same way, but my 360 is broken and my wife decided to take advantage and hijack the TV to watch "27 Dresses".
So in short, my night sucked. At least my Mets are winning.

they have that 12 step thing they said might remedy it but i think they're actually clueless to what it is. (disable media server, disable info bar,unplug ethernet cable, blaw blaw delete and disable=they have no idea how to fix it) hope it works out. but i guess i should hold off on purchasing this right now until they remedy it, echochrome will be my next purchase now.

Just got off the phone with a CSR and he said they think it's a problem with the stat server. Disconnect your PS3 from the network and it'll work, just with no online stats and no multiplayer. Trying it out now to see if it'll freeze on me again.
Shipero: That's fine, and I will try it. But it still sucks, and I really don't wanna delete my save file to be able to play online. Hopefully this can be ironed out soon, because I'd like to be able to play online also.

Just did three missions with no hiccups. As soon as I plugged in the ethernet cable again it froze. Now I wish I hadn't deleted my game data before calling rockstar. Oh well...
Sounds like a "couple" of people wanted to play tonight and ended up raping the stats servers? i'm surprised this is flat out keeping the game loading at all.

One of the first things it does is connect to the stat servers.
Anyone who's having troubles signed up for the Rockstar social club? I ask because both Yojimbo and I had not problems with GTA online until we signed up for the service.
i signed up about a week or so but linking my psn and xbox live gamertag does not seem to work as well as updating my profile on there. I've had the game lock up on me about three times total the past few days. it hasn't happened since though.
tbh i'm with the social club, i signed up back when they were taking pre-registrations. also linked my psn to it.
whoa hey it just started working again.
After the multiplayer match I was in froze and the game wouldn't load up again I signed out of the PSN, kept myself signed out, and I also deleted my most recent save as well which thankfully was very close to my last autosave and its been good so far.
I'm staying away from the multiplayer for this for a while gents. With so many hours of gameplay required for me to finish this I just can't risk losing my save files, that would suck a ton of ass. I'm waiting to see if rockstar announces sometime next week if they are going to address this issue.
