Why is that dude with the red cap checking out that doll's ass?? I love having a shitload of games. I don't know why really. Maybe because as a kid I didn't have a collection deemed worthy of the best out there. Maybe because I get a euphoric thrill of seeing my designated shelves filled to capacity with them so when friends come over, I visually show off to them that yes ... I do indeed have more games than you, without actually saying it out loud. But whatever the reasons or justifications for my hording of games, nothing pleases me more than buying games super cheap. Just because I have disposable cash to throw at video games whenever I choose to doesn't mean that I lose my scruples and buy anything that strikes my fancy on a whim. I do have standards, I just occasionally misplace them. That said, in between getting the latest and greatest hyped game, I always scan the shelves for other games that have always caught my attention but are of BBB caliber. Games that are scoffed at by the critics and general gaming circles alike for being derivative, unoriginal, uninspired, generally any game that is not the next Gears of War, Metal Gear Solid or GTA . In my head, I generally have a set agenda on which games I will get day one, which games I will wait to purchase eventually depending on levels of interest, be it my own or my friends' recommendations, and finally crappy games I would totally buy ... If they were in the Bargain Bin. Now mind you there are varying levels of pricing in the bargain bin. For all intents and purposes in this post that level of pricing is locked at the twenty bucks or below level. A perfect price point that can be easily incorporated into any budget you may have, as it can take the place of something else in that list easily. Why that t shirt I want at the mall can now be replaced with a game or that blackened chicken pasta at Ruby Tuesday I like to scarf, I could tell myself I'll eat healthier and get that game. See? Easy stuff. What follows next are Crappy Games I would totally buy ... If they were in the Bargain Bin. Lair.
I always had a thing for dragons. For twenty bucks this is a no brainer. I don't care if it's garbage or not. I'm flying a dragon. That's good enough for me. Also, why isn't this game already in the Bin?? Come on..don't be shy. Dive in there. Devil May Cry 4.
Unlike a certain Dutch Dtoider who plunked down sixty bucks for this, I couldn't do it. Sure it's pretty but sixty dollars pretty? HELL, NO. Now twenty? ... I'm down. Viking Battle For Asgard .
A Viking chopping limbs apart?? Yup yup, definitely at bargain bin price. Condemned 2 .
Those hobos have been working out! At the lower price I'll be ready to pick a lead pipe for some hobo smackdown. Trauma Center: New Blood.
I love Trauma Center, it should be called Drama Center. I got the others. I just want this cheaper. Dynasty Warriors 6.
Yeah, Jim's Baby. I know this will be in the bargain bin before the next one. I can wait for the price to lower ... I'm patient. Enemy Territory: Quake Wars.
I played the demo to this and I thought it was kick ass. Just not sixty bucks kick ass. Lost: Via Domus.
Translation: Have you found all of your shit? Yes, I'm a dork and yes I love Lost. But no I wont pick this game up until it hits the bin. Army of Two.
A game I always wanted to try. I will when it's twenty bones. and last but not least ... Kane & Lynch.
Yeah like Lair it's supposed to be garbage... but I always wanted to try it out. That's it for me. I could of put a slew more but spared you. Perhaps you have some crappy games you would totally buy if they were on the bargain that I haven't mentioned.

In either case, I hope you find these games in a bargain bin one day and get to play them. :-)
Also just rent Lost:Via Domus. You can easily finish the game in 4-5 hours. Also if you want the whole story (and all achievements) play it with a guide. Without a guide it's pretty annoying to figure out, what you have to do.
Seeing as your done with it, I will gladly accept your copy of Lost. THANKS.
The second game lost a lot of it's eeriness and became about surviving attacks from as many crazed hobos as possible. It really doesn't draw you into the game like the first one did.
I would buy so many more games if the prices were more reasonable and Haze would be one of them.
I snagged Condemned 2 (PS3) for $35 played it, beat it and have not touched it since.
Oh and my friend got stranglehold for...15 I think? Maybe 10? We always cracked up at the demo (because its so terrible) So he got it, and let me tell you its still terrible- When you get stuck...it really stops being fun and just turns into a repetitive chore- BUT, by the time the next cut scene comes around you forget all that and laugh at the horrible script!
From what my friend and his brother (huge Lost fans) have told me, the Lost game is a definite rental. They blew threw it in a day or two each.
Never before have I been able to "flank" someone by shooting them point blank with a lacquered wood and etched brass stinger missile launcher and get a reaction of "So that's why you were useless in the sniping section".
Are you going to pay 20 bucks for a crap game? And not one but 4 or 5?
I've got a Dutch tip for you: "Goedkoop is duurkoop".
And another one:
"Ik wacht nog steeds op dat verdomde pakketje, schrale ouwe sok."
DMC4 can be found in perfect condition for $30 as well... which I just did a couple weeks ago!
Perhaps a more fitting title should be, "I'm to much a cheapskate to buy these great titles at full price".
As a fellow Lost fanboy I would also like to try out Via Domus, but it looks awful. Ugh, six more months until season 5 :(
1) must buy, no matter the price
2) will buy, wait a few months for price drop
3) think i want to buy, will wait for reviews / demo (then if i want it, usually ends up being a "will buy, wait for price drop")
4) maybe i'll buy it eventually when it's $5
that said, Lair, Army of Two, and Kane & Lynch are all #4s for me, and Viking was a #2 for me until i bought it just last weekend for $20. AND IT'S GOOD (for $20).
I'd also pick up Earth Defense Force for $20.
Who shit in your corn flakes? I have yet to see a comment from you where it's not something completely negative.
I like DMC so shut up.
I pretty much won't buy amazing games full price, but we'll see what happens when I get super rich and don't care anymore.
Also i have been waiting for lair to drop to $10-15, I think that's about what it's worth.
