Hello, Destructoid. How are you? Myself? Fine... dandy even, but there is something that's been nagging me lately. What is that you ask? Simple. You aren't blogging. It seems lately people aren't wooing us with their two cents worth in our fine Cblog community. There's been a drop off of blog creating lately that while some may believe equates to less fail blogs, coincidentally it also equals to less quality ones as well.

There are many many reasons why Destructoid as a whole is pure awesome, from the informative and yes, hilarious forums: Here's a shout out to Serpentish, to the unique take on the surplus of daily game news & reviews by our esteemed editors, it's easy to overlook the major contributions done by YOU. You are the blood of Destructoid, whether old or new, that flow through its veins.

Don't be put off from blogging by shyness, fear of rejection, or any other self imposed reason. This isn't some cadre of elite gamers that fancy themselves the end all and be all of game blogging. There's plenty of that elsewhere. This is Destructoid and you people, whether members forever or lurkers hidden in shadow enjoying our site incognito, need to do more of one thing...

I also encourage people to blog; there's so much news moving through the front page that half the time I only catch some of it through c-blogs anyway.

Also, yay! Thanks for putting me in your picks. I got rid of the link to the other side cuz I didn't want people to see it as me promoting the other blog; I just wanted some feedback on what I wrote from people here (and I got some good stuff from you D-toiders, woot).

I used to blog. Then I stopped for some reason, even though people loved me. Then I met Destructoid peeps at Comic Con and vowed to blog again, because everyone was awesome. I wrote a few, then stopped. I'm a terrible person.

I've not been blogging regularly due to my new schedule and wanting to have everything written somewhat well. I'm not professional journalist or blogger, if I was I'd be writing about more old games.

One thing that's stopping me from writing is that I like to play the game's that I'm writing about. As anyone who knows, old school games aren't as easy as these new ones. I just don't have the time lately like I did two weeks ago to play and write about another game every day.

I've a Mega Man 2 article almost ready. I've a few other games in mind, its just that whatever free time I have I'm playing games. I do make time for things I'm committed to doing for Destructoid, like my cblog recaps, but no ones really foaming at the mouth for me to write about Rock & Roll Racing or some other game. I've no real motivation to do it other than a few Destructoid members leaving me a comment that shares a similar opinion or offers a counter to my thoughts on a game.

Putting together a cblog recap is much appreciated Yojimbo. Great job with this one and your opening statement. You do a lot of good work within the Destructoid community.

I would blog more, but I don't always have things worth blogging about. I am wanting to do a blog on some of the video game/music related toys I have but I am at school right now so it's hard for me to take pictures of these things. I guess I could just use the product pictures of them, but that wouldn't be the same to me.

I was surprised when I was recappin' the other day; there were barely any blogs! The fail blogs were from new people, and as a personal rule I won't fail them if they're new.

when i get my copy of "afrika(JP)" / "hakuna matata(AS)" for PS3 i will blog about it.

from what i understand you can also export images to the HDD.
