I'm in the dfw area, just had to shovel snow from the driveway for the first time in my life, electricity was out for 4 hours, and I don't have gloves to make a snowman....yay, snow.
Snow sucks ass. I came here from Maryland so I guess in retrospect I can't complain but literally rain all day. At least snow is a pretty pain in the ass.
Here in Louisiana we're having sleet and supposedly a very minor snowfall. Though I've still never seen a bit of snow in my life.
I would take rain right about now. Rain would imply that it is above freezing. It is -14 celsius where I am. But in all fairness, my window is wide open. I no longer know if I'm complaining or not....
How much rain have you got so far??

The Olympics are being held quite close by to where I live... and we've had the warmest winter in years!! The crocuses and cherry trees are in bloom and we're getting a little rain - but I think everyone is wishing for colder weather to get snow on the mountains for the Olympics!! Right now they're trucking snow in and making fake stuff. :(
Try south Florida, we have 3 seasons, hot, slightly less hot, and hurricane. When it rains here it isn't regular rain, it's Gods wrath trying to finish off the old people kind of rain.
@Elsa
Global warming blows. It throws everything all backwards. :/
@CelicaCrazed
I have no clue but I can say this: I went to sleep last night thinking "Shit that's a lot of rain," then I woke up thinking "Oh no. My bad. THAT's a lot of rain." Right now I'm yelling out at my window "STOP GOD DAMMIT!" Dallas got 9 inches of snow so far. I dunno when it started snowing there or what but shit this rain is totally killing my mood.

Tell me about it. I'm going home to Vancouver this weekend and people are telling me the mountains are balding. Blarg.
@Xzyliac
Send that wet stuff this way - rain, snow or jellybeans, there's not much falling from the skies round here and I happen to be missing my cloud vomit.

Mate, if I ran around defending all the celebrities, musicians, politicians, and actors I like that other people hate, I would've dropped dead from exhaustion 5 years ago.
That said I'm not entirely sure why people come into my blog just to say that but it's nice to know people care so much. :P

When Stevie Ray was in Guitar Hero, it made me so happy.
Speaking of weather, I live in Louisiana....a place where hope comes to vomit blood and die and I have to say I am sorry, so, so sorry that you live in Texas. It is a flat, godless place, like Eva Braun's chest.

hahaha...that's Texas weather for you. Sorry you had to find this out the hard way. If you live on the south side of town its usually worse just because of the drainage into the gulf, but bayous do tend to overflow in random spots.
We're like exactly at sea level so its really hard not to have flooding in certain areas.
also, wait til summer comes and its 100 degrees out every single day with 90% humidity. You'll be praying for rain.
also also, I've lived in Houston all my life and this winter has been a bit funkier than normal. So hopefully that's something to console you while you're freezing in a flood plane.
