I would probably be more open to this if it was gaming-related. :/

Although, the reaction from the community will probably give me some insight on how OK it is to give the occasional update on my indie game project, so thanks! :D

If you're going to do custom cases then you need to do "custom" cases... in fact cases with gaming characters or other geeky personalized touches is a nice idea. If you hope to in any way mass produce these, there is simply too much better competition already out there. I personally have Apple's iPad case which allows me to keep my iPad in the case while using it and it also has a kickstand ability built right into the case. There are a ton of folio type (like what you've designed) cases also already on the market.

@Venus... I didn't mean to be harsh, but there are just so many iPad cases out there and there are many, many variations on his design already available. I was simply suggesting that maybe a more boutique market of actual custom cases might be more original and more profitable. People might be willing to pay quite a bit if they could get a specific design on this case (though there are sites that make custom design iPad holders, but not the folio style - that I've seen anyway).

This is game related. I play games on my iPad. Dead Space HD is pretty good. I also enjoy this site. I'm a gamer. As for custom cases, I'm willing to do a run as long as the quantity makes it profitable. Be realistic. I can't just slap a different image on each case without a lot of effort. They're all handmade. Also, there's copyright issues. Prohibitively expensive. I'm starting a new business and using Kickstarter to help me with that. Is there something missing in most cases that would help with gaming? Have you tried to start a company? Telling me that it's been done isn't helpful for anyone. Tell me how I can make it better.
