What has been your best gaming get? With added "This is where I play my vidya"
Xiofire | 11:10 AM on 10.14.2008 12 comments

Recently, I was browsing the internet, and came across a deal like no other. I found Saints Row 2 for the PS3 for £15.97 at Tesco, brand new, delivered on release day. Thats just under £16 for a PS3 game that is yet to be released. BARGAIN. Now I was wondering, what has your guys best gaming purchase been? Price or rarity.

Looking back, I havent had that many bargains when it comes to games so not much to say really.

And rather than make this one of those annoying two line blogs, I will now show you my set up, in which I play the vidya amoungst other things.

Where I Sit

What I See

My actual games are stored in the cupboard behind where I sit, and due to light, I couldnt get a good shot.

Hopefully that picture link works . . . that's not a picture of mine, I got lazy and just linked to one that looks comparable to the condition mine is in.

Yeah your bedroom is pretty cool, very clean looking and you've got some cool posters. Good thing Master Chief watches you sleep. Question though, what's with the two 360's?

Best deal I've found was about 4 years ago I found one copy GTAIII sitting on some odd shelf in a random part of the store [not videogame section] for 5 dollars, safe to say I picked that up.

When you wake, gaming is just a step away.
Well, I'm jealous.
I don't think I've ever made a good bargain, I would have remembered.

Snes boxed mint everything included for free.

Metal Gear Solid PSone first edition (not platinum) for 1 euro. Recently Kojima signed it.

One of the 25000 special editions of MGS4 with the actionfigure.

US PS2 with Front Mission 3

An Atari Lynx boxed.

3 double sided posters, a T-shirt, a framed picture signed by everyone from the Killzone: Liberation team, a tour through the Guerrilla Games headquarters and the moment of beating the developers in their own game.

I got the best game deal of the year

Target was trying to clear out their copies of COD4: Modern Warfare to make room for the "game of the year" edition, so they had it on clearance for only $7.46. I bought all 7 copies that they had and gave them out to my friends.

@SilverDragon1979

That is the best deal I have ever heard. I recently paid full retail for my second copy of COD4 so I could play against my dad in the house.

Very nice get indeed.

Marvel vs Capcom 2 PS2 for £10.

Love the framed posters on your wall.
