Applied for a job..

Because I'm partial to buying some new games every month, and because I live in the UK and games are not cheap, I decided to apply for a job, some 11-per-hour part time tech support job, 20 hours a week. I don't even know if I'm going to get the interview yet, and I really hope I do, and getting the job would be just great.. There's only so much you can buy with the money the college gives you every month, blah.

Even though I haven't even got confirmation that I'm getting an interview, I've already cut and dyed my hair, so it's "tidier". That goes to prove I really want this job, I never usually change my appearance for anything, I went to my university interview/tour with bright blue hair. 220 a week for helping people with my "Microsoft product knowledge" isn't that bad considering.

Anyone else ever wanted a job, or even something else, so bad that they did something out of character to get it/increase your chance of getting it?   read

Multiplayer trophies..

Sometimes I get quite annoyed at games I'm wanting to get the Platinum trophy on my PS3, and I blame the online-usually-multiplayer trophies.

The way I see it is, I think you should get the platinum once you have completed all the offline trophies, and then if you feel like it, get the extra trophies for the multiplayer stuff.

Quantum of Solice being a good example of this, single player mode was alright, I've completed near enough all the trophies for it, my first play through being on 007 mode helping quite a bit there, then I gave it a shot on multiplayer mode, which a lot of the trohpies are in, and it was absolutely crap.. It really was terrible.

I'm sure there's people out there that share my opinion on this. Just a thought..
