Too many games
Xelotath | 1:51 AM on 04.23.2008 11 comments

I'll be doing something that may have been done many times before but it may help me have more motivation. I have a back log of maybe 60 games. What I do most of the time is, I buy a game, play it for 2 hours and find it awesome and then never play it again. So I'll list some of the games I want to finish and will play through the one with the most votes in the comments. So here is the list:

a) Super Mario Galaxy
b) The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess(Wii)
c) Metal Gear Solid(I just bought the essential collection)
d) God of War(I have the second waiting too)
e) Resident Evil 4(GC)

So with your help maybe I'll be able to finish a good game. The last I finished is No More Heroes I think, I'm also pretty far into Lost Odyssey(but I play it with a friend).

So it's time for a random video:

Lucky Star + Hatsune Miku + Weird popular Finish song = Win(for me anyways...)
I can't stop listening to this, it's so addicting. It also represent why I can't finish games anymore : Anime...

I'm probably the only person who enjoys the first video so here is something better:

That's me getting owned online in Immaterial and Missing Power a touhou fighting game. I sucked and still suck, but I'm a lot better now that I don't have to use the 360 controller. Saturn pad FTW

Is this post awesome? Vote it up!

hahaha nice

that anime looks very....generic. Whats it about?

@Skribble

Oh... Its about the typical girls life in Japan... Talking about food and stuff. First episode hooked me cause they wouldn't shut up about a certain food and I found that extremely hilarious.

But there is a Videogame/MMO/Anime geek that makes it extra special.

Its like Futurama of anime, you need to know the source material or reference to make it fully enjoyable. (Haruhi, and 'Moe' turn-ons are probably the easiest ones to catch)

Anime Karaoke endings are probably the hardest ones to get. I knew a lot of them but they are mostly from old old anime (80-90s).

Also Touhou FTW!

Though I don't really play that fighting game, Shoot the Bullet or the VS one much... I always go back to the shmups now and then.

Oh.. the vote!

God of War runs at around 10-12 hours. So its probably the easiest to quickly finish.

And its action packed with only one area at the end that drags on.

Hmm I still haven't finished either Wii entry and thinking I probably never will as my backlog of games still has PSone and Dreamcast games sitting on it.

I second with God of War but c'mon finish Solid already and RE4. What's wrong with you there?
Clyde's Destructoid Blog
yeah I say MGS and RE4
Def JM's Destructoid Blog
Im saying RE4, but I'm like, you my games are starting to pile up on me. Somehow all the games I requested in Goozex are all in the mail.

All great games, but I'd cast my vote for Super Mario Galaxy I just found it the most enjoyable and requires little effort to get through.

I haven't played the Wii games, so I can't comment on those. But I would go with RE4, then MGS, then God of War I and II. They're all incredibly fun games, though, so I'm not disparaging any of them with this ranking.

RE4 for PS2 has some extra content, so you might want to check that out instead of GC.

I compiled the results with only the first tile you each mentioned. 2 for mario, 2 for god of war,1 for mgs and 2 for re4. I need one more comment to decide this. I'll decide this at random between the entry with the most votes if I can't get a clear winner. Thanks for all the comments and I'm glad some of you liked both videos.

Ok so I was ready to play a game and there was no new comment. Random decided that I play: Mario Galaxy

So I'll finish Mario galaxy and post my progress in a new blog, I'll then post new choices and wait for votes. I was almost finished with Mario Galaxy for the main quest but I'll get all 120 stars.
