So, it's been a while since I posted, but this one will be short anyway. Last week while searching for awesome overpriced stuff on ebay I saw it, Ikaruga for the Dreamcast, New and Still sealed. I bid on it but I lost the bid anyway. But I got an email from the seller telling me he had another one and he would sell it to me at the same price I bid the first time, and I bought it. I already own Ikaruga for the DC but it's only the cd so I won't open it. Ikaruga is awesome and just posting this makes me wanna play it, and I will. Thanks for reading a totally useless post of me being happy paying money for something I already have and won't use anyway, haha.
Time for the random video:

(It seems I can't display the youtube vid and only the link show up?)
Just how over the top can soccer/football get? It's from Touhou soccer and if you like it click on the video there is a lot more from different characters on youtube. As for the game itself, it's semi playable without Japanese knowledge but it's a lot of guess work/ memorization. I managed to play it but my game stopped to work. I guess only touhou fans will want to play it anyway.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!

Reading Destructoid(I come here like 20 times a day when I'm not working...)
Destructoid is an independently-run publication forged by our love of video games and the gaming community's need of accountable enthusiast press living the dream since March 16, 2006
I've got the same setup, actually. One sealed DC copy that I'll never open, and the GC version chilling in my Wii as we speak.
Same story with Rayman 2, oddly enough. Not necessarily because it's rare (it ain't), but because I fucking worship that game.
Now what are you still doing here? Start playin'!
i still have yet to try to play that damn game i keep hearing about. problem is, i was never that into shmups.
i dunno. good find though.
If you don't like shmups think of it like a puzzle game, a hardcore puzzle game. Everybody should at least try Ikaruga.
haha I know it blows when someone bids on something you want.
Hey also I have a project of opening a video game store maybe somewhere in Quebec (province)
