New DREAMCAST 2 Rumors.

Here you go, a handful of salt for you.

Believe it or not, there's new rumors flying around about a new Dreamcast console! The reasoning behind the rumor is a new trademark that Sega has filed for the Dreamcast name, which was filed on August 13th, 2007- only 4 months ago!

i love my dreamcast, but it wasn't the hardwares fault it failed last time or the games. it was just one of those things, a combination of factors. as far a know.

I'm gonna go with Protecting the Trademark for $500, Alex.

If Sega were ever to get back into console hardware, which would be HIGHLY unlikely given that they have stated no intentions of doing so, it's very doubtful they would re-use the Dreamcast name.

No Dreamcast 2 for us... but wow, it's funny how I've still got a not-so-secret hard-on for Sega still... it's like that old girlfriend you broke-up with years ago who you still like to fuck. Haha

I think the butchering of Phantasy Star and Shining Force were the ones that did me in. But yeah. I'd still do Sega. Wouldn't tell anyone and I'd leave in the middle of the night.

As much as I agree with ShawnKelfonne, I hate to do it. I would buy a new Dreamcast in an instant.

However, its probably just Sega protecting all instances of its trademark.
