Bungie cancels SUPERINTENDENT reveal?

There were all set to reveal whatever Superintendent was by tomorrow morning...
But apparently their publisher has changed plans on them?

Strange... there is something fishy about the above image tho... for one- it's signed by Harold Ryan, President of Bungie LLC...

Is he really president? Also, the letter has a timestamp of 7:00pm, and Bungie certainly loves the number 7...

It's probably nothing, but man- I was excited to see what this announcement was going to be.

Seems a hell of a coincidence this went up about the same time of the start of Activision's 'non-E3' conference.

They are pulling our chain, people have looked up the code for the site and they said the site was programed to post that letter. Which means, the guys over there think this is big.

The guys over at GAF have had a interesting discussion about this. In summary:

-There are 7 lines of text between the header and footer
-It was posted at exactly 7:00PM
-Homepages 3 and 4 are the only homepages that are up on the server. 3+4=7
-The current countdown clock reads "00:12:00:00". 3*4 is 12.
-The previous countdown clock ended at approximately 7:00am tomorrow morning. 12 hours from 7:00PM tonight (The time the letter was posted) is 7:00am tomorrow morning.
-A couple of the phrases from bungie's previous homepage read "Expect delays"
