Blast Corps is a game in which you must clear a path for a truck carrying a pair of defective nuclear missiles, called the Missile Carrier. Here is the thing, the missle carrier only moves forward, it never turns left or right so whatever is in the fucking way, you smash it up using a number of different vechicles & robots.
The game was so awesome & even now has a good classic old school feel to it, the music is pretty funny too. So yeah Blast Corps by Rare, a hidden gem in my opinion.

Being a Rare game it will never come to the Virtual Console so the Nintendo 64 is the only way to play this game, totally worth the £20 I paid for it in 1998. A sequel would be nice, the power of the Xbox 360 could really work well for this type of game but you know why Blast Corps rocks, because it's the type of game they will never make a sequel to. It's a one off game, you don't get games like this these days & we love it for it
Since I got my Wii @ launch I've been saying this needs to come to the virtual console (even though I could pick it up on my '64 for next to nothing).
The game is hot, and just 'cause RARE made it doesnt mean it wont come to the VC. I can't see why Microsoft wouldn't allow it unless they were planning on licensing a Blast Corps title themselves.
Also, bring me VC Pilot Wings. Fuck it - bring me Pilot Wings Wii Edition.
