Good stuff. I liked the other Chronological video better though. In this, he gives too many different point of views and opinions that it just f*cks it all up even more.
I love AVGN...I haven't watched him in a while, I need to catch up.
Personally I don't care about the overall continuity in the Zelda series since the games have such a sparse story as it is and it generally unfolds the same way every time. I'm in it for the gameplay.
Arguing Zelda continuity can be interesting every now and then, but there's really too much contradiction to take it seriously. Besides, who really cares that much?

I'm going to say that it's like Mario in that the developers don't give a shit about a story.
Also, I find Zelda to be boring. After beating the Game Boy Color games, I lost interest because they all seem alike. I didn't have that much fun on the GBC so that also might play into why I think Zelda is so overrated.

Honestly, these games weren't meant to be tied together. Sure, you have a few connections here and there, but the fact of the matter is that the story, the "timeline" and all that shit doesn't fucking matter.
I love Zelda. I own them all, I've dedicated long hours to the games, the art, the music...I named my parakeet Zelda when I was a kid. But arguing about the whole thing is just pointless and silly. Then gametrailers had to throw in THEIR timeline, at which point I took a break from all that crap.
There's no continuity between all the games.
That said, I liked the video, just because I find AVGN really annoying, and it was nice to see him out of character. He doesn't make shitty jokes, and makes a superb point in the end where he talks about how no continuity was planned and how fans are getting out of hand.
