Ah, I was wondering how long it would take someone to c-blog this.
Enraged Lord Bale is a horrific site. That is why one does not cross Lord Bale.

That is pretty nuts. I'd like to think he was acting but it sounds too much like a real version of Ben Stiller in Extras to me.
"D'you want me to trash your lights?"

Sounds like the dude did mess up a scene being shot, but yea, Bale did sound a little extra whiny to me.
He was in character. Bale has an english accent naturally. He's known to get really into the mindset of his characters. Not defending him of course.
Sounds like someone needs to remember that they starred in Reign of Fire and that they're not the only one working hard on the movie.
Um, he started in Empire of the Sun, which was epic and where he put on an amazing performance.
So I'm gonna side with Lord Bale

@Superhobo,
he speaks in an American to fit in with his audience more. Just watch the extras on the Batman films... His interviews are in an American accent.

From the sounds of it, it sounds like the guy deserved some lip. Bale could have put it more tactfully, but we don't what happned.
The guy could have just been messing around when hey were doing a scene, Bale's known for staying in-character, and if you're playing a leader of the resistance at the end of the world, you'd be pretty short-tempered yourself.
Were I Bale, I would have done it in the gravelly Batman voice of Batman Begins... no one would screw up a scene after that.
"I won't mess up, I swear to god!"
"SWEAR TO MEEEE!"

He went on a bit long. But according to sources, Bale had been warning this Light-Guy, throughout production because the guy keeps tweaking lights during filming. It's a no-no unless you get the Actors OK on it.
Bale's investing the better half of a year or more into a film that's got to get Terminator back on track after the abortion that was 3. There's a lot of money riding on this, and McG has demonstrated his lack of control by letting the tension get this far.
I've yelled at people in my office when there's a software deadline, and people aren't doing their jobs. It's human nature. There's no justification for it, the same way there's no justification for not doing your job properly.
