When I was 12 or 13 the only thing I gave a shit about was Pokemon, I had to have them all. Back in the late 90’s the majority of kids’ lives were spent watching Pokemon, playing Pokemon and trading Pokemon cards. I was no exception, I even had a Pokedex. Yep.
Obviously, having such an impact on me as a youth, a lingering nostalgic Pokemon interest remains. I think most of us play the new RPG’s that come out every few years. They’re great and all, but it’s just never the same as when I first played Pokemon Red.
Well, 9 years later my prayers has been answered in the form of: Pokemon Indigo. An unofficial, web based, fan made, 2d Pokemon MMORPG in Beta.
I haven’t played it (yet) although I probably will tonight. And to be honest, I think it could be fun.
Anyway, if you care to give it a blast then head over
Here to signup and give the latest beta a whirl.
Would you try this out? If not for the lolz, then just to experience a Pokemon mmorpg?
I'm surprised they haven't made it themselves (Nintendo that is). I mean, pokemon is practically built for some sort of MMORPG experience.
It would be so AWESOME!
How unfortunate.
