I just bought a PS3.

Well after a long debate with my friend I decided to buy a PS3 today after trading in my Xbox 360 Elite. It was a tough choice, but GameStop had a used 60GB model so I made a rash decision. I also picked up Uncharted, Warhawk, and Folklore. So yeah I guess I joined the darkside, but it feels so good to have the blu-rayz.

Guess we have the same tasted in games king and the 60gb is the only PS3 to get IMO.

i recently got a ps3 too, but i didnt trade in my 360 to get it. the fact that my 360 is currently bricked helped spur the decision. the only game i have atm is uncharted, im loving it. i will eventually get my 360 fixed, but im happy for the moment.

Well you know, it's cold on this side of the fence, so we need as much company as we can get. We're the not cool people. I don't like blu-ray, but I am still holding out hope that PS3 will bring some awesome. I'll be honest in saying I'm not fully convinced. But I paid over $800 NZD for mine and well I sure as hell am not going to give up without giving it a good shot!

@kawitchate: Yeah I would've liked to own both but I don't really have the room for both of them. My place is pretty cramped so I went with the more multi-purpose console.

Good luck! I've enjoyed mine; save Uncharted for last, because you won't like the other games as much if you play Uncharted first.

I tried playing Oblivion after Uncharted, and it was like going from a Lexus to a Kia.

I'm enjoying my PS3, and althoug I love it for grilling, warhawk is a blast along with Uncharted, Ratchet, and Heavenly Sword.
