Its nice when things get portrayed in a good light like this
Frankly, I'm impressed that this whole thing made it into the Times, and that the Times didn't make the gamers look like assholes. In fact, they portrayed the actions of the Amazon flamers as exactly what they were intended to be.
Well played EA, Cooper Lawrence haters, New York Times, and even Cooper Lawrence, first for retracting her statements and secondly for granting this opportunity for video games to put some points on the board.
Ah this cracks me up.
The entire time I was expecting for the New York Times to bash gamers... and it never happened!
Wonder if the apology is motivated more out of self-preservation, rather than "hey I was wrong" humility.
@Ali D, it probaly was, but, BUT, at least things turned out
well, we finally making progresive steps, as gamers that is
I'm more amazed by the use of the word lasciviousness
Gamers: 1
Player Haters: 0
Good form on Cooper for apologizing, but the internet is still going to hate her forever.
there is a god.
Nice to see a well written article like this responding to this BS.
