Wow! YS Book I and II will always have a special place in my heart. It was the first CD-ROM console game I ever played.
When I was young, my older brother purchased a strange system I never heard of called the Turbographix 16 with a very expensive CD-ROM drive attachment. All my friends had the NES back then, and I wasn't that much of a fan of the video games, so I had never even heard of this mysterious Turbographix thing.
I was blown away by the opening cinema, which by today's standards was mostly just a bunch of scrolling images with some minor animations and a narrator. The soundtrack was great (and I still have a copy of it to this day), and it had characters talking! Sure, the voice acting wasn't so great, but still, they were talking!
Anyhow, I'm psyched that it will be on the DS, and I'm hoping they don't change the boss music too much. That synth-guitar opening part always made me happy.
