It's been a while since I was last on Destructoid. I was very busy. But I had a lot of tiime to think. I thought of Hoborg and the events that lead to his banning. After reading through all of his past blogs, I came to a conclusion. Hoborg should still be here. In other words, he should not have been banned. Now, if you were to look through Hoborg's past blogs, you would see that I, like most of the community, flamed Hoborg, which would lead you to the conclusion that I am having a laugh. But I can explain this. I was scared. Scared of getting flamed by the flamers I was helping. But I'm not scared anymore. Ever since I wrote my first blog post (Why I hate the Wii) I have been subject to abuse. People could have peacefully chosen to disagree with me, yet they chose to flame me. So when Hoborg came along, I saw a chance to fit in. I helped the bullies, so to speak. I flamed Hoborg, he flamed back. And people liked me for that. I began to fit in more. When I was about to leave for holiday, Hoborg commented on my previous blog, Games and Politics, asking to make peace. (You can see my reply to his comment, but not the comment itself.) I realised that I was doing a terrible thing, and agreed to make peace. Then I left for Portugal. When I came back from holiday, I was shocked to see he was banned. I wanted him to be back, so I could make ammends. You may be thinking "What is the point to this blog?" Well, the answer is simple. I'm doing this so I cnan make ammends to Hoborg. I am campaigning for him to be brought back to Dtoid. There are those of you who will disagree with me. Some of you may flame me. As I've said before, I'm not scared, and I WILL face up to you. There are those who will do everything they can to stop me. There are many of them, and I am putting them all on a hit list. Right now, there are only two on that list. Their names are chronoswing and Magnalon. My reason for piking these two is because they were the ones who picked on Hoborg the most. There were others, of course, and I will deal with them in due course. But right now I'm focusing on these two as they were the worst. Finally, some of you may think that this is a joke post. STOP THINKING THIS. I am 100% serious and I WILL bring Hoborg back. Thank you, feel free to comment.

I'm going to explain myself once. While harsh to some new members, I am ALWAYS welcoming. I was extremely nice to Hoborg when he first entered, and even gave him a bunch of chances to not act elitist. A few blogs later, he openly admitted that he made his blogs to piss us off: at that point, I started flaming him.
It's the same thing with Michi. I was extremely nice to Michi despite all the old time members' daily Michi torch party: shortly later, I found out why he was so hated.
Hide this. I'm not against bringing up old unsolved issues, but this one is completely cut and dry. In fact, I think Hoborg should have been banned MUCH sooner: it shouldn't have taken an anti-gay comment to finally ban him, as he was warned for breaking the "elitist" rule many times.
He made peace with you to fuck with you. Ready to have your mind blown? Hoborg did the exact same thing to me, before openly making fun of multiple friends of mine, and pushing numerous members off Destructoid.

@Wii Hater: I do not hate Hoborg, but even I can see why he was banned. He i sgone, and unless you have any amount of influence in Dtoid (which you don't seem to), he will stay that way.

The back and forth flaming was fine: I would never call for someone to be banned for that.
What I did call for was his attitude of "making blogs just to piss people off", which is in direct violation of the rules, plain and simple.
Since this is a troll post, I'll just humor you: when he apologized, he was fucking with you. He did the exact same thing with me, and we made amends. Then, he "re-found Jesus" and quit the site for a few months. Lo and behold, a few months later, he's back, and directly condescending some of my friends. Hell, I even friend listed him: I gave him so many chances that you didn't even know about.

Hoborg was an idiot, he occasionally wrote a blog that made people think he was alright, but every other (at least) was him masturbating about his superiority. I think the ban was good personally.

Wii Hater, you failed to expect reasonable responses from the community and if you're surprised that people are annoyed at you for treating them like idiotic savants in your comments, I can't help you with that.

I read his blog posts and he practically asking to be banned. Didn't he come back as "Groboh" and get his arse re-banned anyways? I'll be back when this blog rightfully turns into another pic-spam. I love me a good spam!
