So, this morning, I downloaded the ROM of this game, and put it on my R4.
Like the other two GS games, there's an option in the menu that allows you to switch all of the text in the game to English.
VERY MILD SPOILERS FOR THE FIRST CASE FROM HERE ON

In the first case, instead of controlling the titular attorney, you are actually playing as Mia Fey, five years before T&T takes place. You have to defend Phoenix, who was a university student at the time. Winston Payne is the prosecutor in the first case, as he has been in all the current GS/PW games. The gameplay is the same as it has always been, with the innovations from GS2/PW:JFA intact. These innovations in question are the presenting of characters as evidence in court and the health meter. Judging by the return of the Magatama in the second case, the Psyche-Locks are back, too. There are no Psyche-Locks to break in the first case, however. Unlike the other games, this first case has an intermission where you can save, but that's it for differences. Typical first-case difficulty.
One complaint I have had about the series is that there are often moments where you have ONE CHANCE TO TURN THE CASE OVER and you have to guess what evidence to present. Thank God for the save system.
The translation is pretty good, I only noticed a few typos.
Other than that, it seems to be the same. Fans of the series have nothing to worry about.
