Audio Surf Beta up again!

If you didn't get a chance to try it last weekend, the Audio Surf beta is up and running again (probably for another weekend). The game is an IGF finalist, and a varied puzzle-rythym hybrid that plays based on your own music. You can read more and signup for the mailing list at the website or tsunamikitsune's old blog about it. I would guess signing up for the mailing list will get you an e-mail with the beta link, if not, I can post it up here.

Also if you like the game, you can vote for it on the IGF Audicence Award here.

A New Challenger

I played a little of it today (along to tunes from Rez, natch, as well as David Bowie's album Low.) S'fun. Kind of like Klax meets Amplitude.

I've been trying to play it, but it keeps saying the Beta is expired (it's been telling me this all day). I know it's the most recent version though (1-19-08) so I don't know what's up.

I'm sure theres a crack up though to play this offline. If its not plastered all over 4chan then its in it's achive

aw, it just ended, but i managed to play a couple songs first, as enjoyable as everyone claims. some japanese speedcore songs are F'n murder

If it's not working for you, then please report it or something. A lot of the reason this is out is to fix bugs, and if you're getting that, it's probably because of issues connecting with their server. It SHOULD be playable right now.
