I think the big question is why doesn't Yash give the other admins powers as well? As long as you don't let asshats become admins there wouldn't be any problems, and you wouldn't have admins leaving the group because they can't do anything.

A while ago I was asked if certain people could be officers so they could post community events and announcements. The way I had it set up only officers could have that kind of power, but I decided that it would be easier to let people just post with they want with the idea that everybody was mature enough to leave it alone. That way people could schedule events for whichever game they wanted without having to bug an officer.
Apparently I was wrong, a few choice individuals decided to play with the announcements system. So currently only officers can post an announcement and I have also have it set so they could only set up events. I'm sorry it had to be this way but I guess people cant keep their hands to them selves.

I just shut down Steam for the night. I mean, I understand that Destructoid and its Steam equivalent aren't composed of the same members, but good fucking God people. I can understand SPNKr's problem because that was a bug (and Steam was acting up for everyone from what I could tell) but that didn't mean everyone had the right to spam the damned thing.

I didn't mind it since the glitch seemed to be the problem at first, but then someone started spamming 'horse dick?' and then it just went fucking crazy. I just closed steam, wasn't playing anything anyways, and left it at that. Glad to see only officers can post announcements now though.
I think my Steam shit after the tenth announcement of "drink my bloody period." I was playing Blade Runner the entire time, so I never even noticed until I was ready to shut the machine down.
Neither you nor Yashoki have to be sorry, it's not your fault if some retard(s) with the maturity of a 5 years old with Down syndrome abused your good faith.
