Interplay.com is live! Announce Codename 'Project V13' AKA Fallout MMO ;)

Well it appears Interplay has risen from the ashes and their site is now live! Along with their new development studio in Orange County. Their website of course has all of their oldies on their site including decent, clayfighters (lol) and earthworm jim! But what you will notice on the main page is the announcement of 'Project V13' with.. "The Original creators of the fallout series". Now what most of you might not realize is Project V13 is in relation to the fallout universe ;). And the only thing interplay has on the Fallout universe is the rights to develop a Fallout MMO.

So there is your super secret game, with them having the two original creators of the fallout series in the development process of project v13 I am hoping heavily that this could actually be pretty damn good. However I still have my doubts, but heres to the next couple of years waiting to see more from these boys!

I'm playing through fallout 2 again so I was reading a little about interplay and their plans for the mmo the other day. The deal they made with Bethesda was interesting, they have the right to make the MMO but only if they make deadlines and goals. Interplay has to raise a 30 million, start work on the game within 2 years of the deal, and launch the game within 4 years of starting development. Lets hope they can pull it off.
