Nice poster :] Odd post, but nice poster non the less. Truth be told, I've never played an AVP game (I've seen my friend play the first side scroller). But I like the films, and I think this one looks promising.
@Zippy
"But I like the films"
... wat?
Very awesome poster! I'm really looking forward to this title, but I'm skeptical at how well the game's engine will run on PC. I just hope it's not a mess like GTA4 and so many other poorly ported PC games.
@Zippyduda - I can't even express how much I abhor the AvP movies. The wort thing is how they're being integrated into the lore for both franchises. Just look at the resurrected AvP comic series set in modern times!!! The Aliens movie (which half of the AvP lore is based upon, duh) don't even make sense when there are aliens running around Earth in the early 21st century... sigh, wtf.
@Chrono, I like the films, simple.
In my comment however I meant to say "I think this game iteration looks promising". Also, comment on the story.
@Arttemis, don't get me wrong, Requiem was AWFUL, but I liked the rest, especially the Alien and Predator original ones separately.
ZippyDuda, I recommend you get a hold of the two major AvP PC games. It is an experience that is still satisfying to this day both as a SP/COOP and a unique MP experience. AvP 1 is best for its coop, AvP 2 is best for its graphics & multiplayer shenanigans. Both games have great SP campaigns and are a blast to play through multiple times.
Awesome! I wonder how long they took until they decided it was too hard to put the Alien up there on the front :)
That looks Badass.
This looks awesome.
