I try to log into my Steam account today and it proclaims my account had been suspended. - Now please note I never have cheated or used any hacks, I own 135 games on Steam and have had an account since 2003, I put a ticket in at 8AM EST, its almost 8PM EST, no response, I posted photos, credit info *last 4 digits and purchases I have pre-ordered including one tonight at midnight and one in 3 days*
The forums are down so no luck there, I e-mailed Gave N just about 20 minutes ago to see if perhaps he could shine some light on this seemingly random suspension. - no response yet, and the support techs are really taking the sweet time to get to what I feel is far more important than "I can't find my password" type of posts. They may not have 8000$ or so of Steam Games on the line that could be lost if support does not answer or co-operate.
Dtoid Community, I have been in chat rooms of which people here have urged me to post a blog and to write the site a news article, I am starting with the blog. Easy, and hopefully someone can shine some light. At first I thought it was due to the forums being hacked, then I remembered completely different usernames and passwords; I added an extra 50 dollars into my checking incase that may be an issue, it did not seem to be.
Lord only knows what the reason is, and if it is far; to my system of belief it is not as I do not know what I "did" (as to my understanding I did nothing against the TOA and Conduct agreements).
What would you do if you lost basically your entire PC gaming library, on a PC that is a labor of love, with constant hardware updates, and cutting edge ones at that to get the upper-hand on new games and enjoy them to the fullest.
I have a feeling I will not get to become Detective Cole Phelps tonight using Nvidia 3D Sterescopic Vision, to immerse myself in the world of L.A Noire, and I am afraid I will not be able to be whatever I want to be in Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim in 3 days.
Is it fair; up to you to decide, but I remain here, crushed.
