Some call me Volomon, some call me Elite Destroyer of Worlds, some call me Superman, and even still some call me for a midnight voracious ravaging ala ménage à trois.
Through all the naming of me Volomon, I yet stick to the modest identity as a PS3 fan.

One Two Three Four
According to Jim of Dtoid fame, it would be in Sony's best interest to cultivate better relationships with publishers/developers to better their ability to prevent hacking, and to allow the PSN to become a competitor with Xbox 360. U
According to Noctis Everto a user of Infinity's Forums, a new exploit for (guess what system) Modern Warfare 2 has been discovered and not the kind of discovered like "ooohhh cool", but more like the "ooohh shit" kind. When in a Hardcore SnD game the clan (SC) found tenth prestiges who immediately allowed themselves to be pummeled. At the end of the match they were greeted with the witty remark of "AWW look at the level 1's". They realized that each time they killed one of these 10th presiguers they ended up losing tons of XP unfortunately they didn't realize it till the game was over and their ranks had reset to rank 1. Ben
Again the Xbox360 raped another victim. According to Jim, this kind of thing is common to PSN since Sony doesn't take a progressive stance against such measures. What he doesn't make you aware of is that Xbox360 is a cesspool of hacking depravity. In essence Jim gave a pat to the back of a dirty whore who is so full of the venereal disease, that she turned down cock, and was immediately deemed a princess of virtue. Tr
Xbox360 has reached a point of no return, it has become actively modifiable from outside sources due to soldering kits and pirating modification. Many are now programing directly from PC to Xbox360. Xbox360 is now as safe as a game on PC, highly vulnerable. It was only a matter of time, since gaming has moved from PC to Console so have the cheats, hacks, and pirates. This is the NEW GENERATION. oll
So what makes the PS3 so much safer you ask? Xbox360 as you may have heard is easier for Developers to create games on. Well this same thing is why hacking is becoming so prevalent and wide spread on Xbox360. The PS3 uses a different architecture altogether along with a totally different programing language, hindering the mass of rabble out there who want to ruin your gaming experience. So I ask you which is more competitive? ed
I think he also said anyone who doesn't read an article first before commenting is pretty much retarded too. So are you going to believe everything he says or just what you want?

Umm... yeah, you can do that with any computer. For all intents and purposes, a game console is a series of mass-produced PCs with identical specifications and a streamlined OS that uses very little memory. It may have measures in place to prevent consumers from swapping components to gain an edge online, but remember that this is only the second generation of consoles with widespread online support. The 360 can and has been modded, sure. But the PS3 can be as well, and it's only a matter of time.
As for your statement that "The PS3 uses... a totally different programing [sic] language", no. Just no. It is obvious that you have a tenuous (and that's being generous) grasp on how programming works, and I'd like to take a minute, so just right there, I'll tell you how I became the prince of a town called Bel-Air.
PROTIP: "Programing" languages and game engines are not the same. Languages and libraries are not the same. Languages and SDKs are not the same. Almost every commercial console or PC game is scripted in C++, C, or C#. Hell, most developers for the PS3 use the same engines as developers for the 360 (Havok, Unreal, idTech 4, RenderWare, Scaleform, etc).
I see your point, and I agree that modding of the PS3 for the purposes of cheating does seem to be much less of a problem. It also is rather odd to see that the console with the strongest controls in place (where MS will actually ban a user, rather than Sony's method of mostly leaving cheating issues up to the developer to manage) seems to actually have more cheating problems.
However, the 360 has also been around a lot longer. If modding of the PS3 becomes commonplace, Sony may have to change their system and actually start policing PSN more heavily and banning users with modded systems.
As stated in Jim's article... my own preference is Sony's system... allow the devs to manage cheaters (either by patching the game, resetting rank or individual banning from the game), but if modded PS3's became common and cheating was rampant... I might actually agree more with Microsoft's approach. :(
Interesting article, though I don't believe the argument that the ease of development makes hacking easier on 360 compared to the PS3 outweighs the fact that devs such as Valve and 4A games outright refuse to develop for the PS3 for this very reason.

You clearly have all the answers.

Sorry, someone was going to do it eventually.
