Some call me Volomon, some call me Elite Destroyer of Worlds, some call me Superman, and even still some call me for a midnight voracious ravaging ala ménage à trois.
Through all the naming of me Volomon, I yet stick to the modest identity as a PS3 fan.
Don't forget to play with girls or you'll turn queer, if your balls don't turn blue and explode first.
If your a girl, don't forget to check your mammaries for cancer with a firm shake and squeeze.

One Two Three Four
Sometimes you see a flashing light in the shape of a square over an icon that has the letter A and think what the hell is that, then suddenly a voice is like move and capture A, not a human voice but an automated voice. Even more confusing, text begins to pop up on the top of the screen saying Capture A, and your all like: ignore. As you proceed to do your own thing, scurrying to the closest bush to lay prone and sniping off people as they attempt to retake A. Far far away, sits' a gaggle of five other privates who also think they can do the same as you. You the master of the geek squad lays out your way of thinking over the airwaves.
Ok anyone seen this picture over and over?
Look I'm not very experienced only level 21 with four Grim Reaper ribbons, but somehow no one can put together any inkling of thoughts or actions to form a decent meaningful plan, and I'm hoping to up some knowledge to anyone out there who is having issues.
I just have two things of advice:
FARGO: Who cares what it means, what it truly means is extra points. Every time you do anything within distance of a FARGO (flashing light icon) you gain more points. I can't remember exactly but I think it literally doubles all points. You might think whooptie I want kills, well your score effects your experience points. You can stay level 1 forever or you can move up to level 20 really quick.
SQUAD LEADERS: Squad leaders can change the FARGO meaning if you see the flashing light somewhere else that's where you need to go in order to get double points. They also provide bonuses, I can't even remember what they all do but they are pretty impressive, all you have to do is go into barracks to check them out for yourself what they all do.
It's these two mere simple influences on the game that should be getting people to work together more. However it's as if everyone is completely oblivious to these notions, despite the Training section telling people what everything is and what it does. It should be FORCE reading, I know something beyond the means of most to accomplish but it would truly help.
Kidding. Good article, this is something everyone should read. More people need to learn the FARGO system and work together, but I'm honestly surprised by the amount of teamwork I've been seeing.
Question: I am a medic but everyone around keeps dying on me....then their souls haunt me, screaming something about a healing gun. Why does everyone hate me when I'm focused solely on inflicting pain with the precision only a doctor would know?? Also, why don't I ever get any points??
Actually, this question may be more appropriate for BF:BC2....
LOL... not to be the spelling police, but FARGO is a place in North Dakota... FRAGO is a FRagmentary Order :)
My own advice for beginners with the game...
1) Use your first 4 point to get the med kit and the upgraded med kit that allows you to revive. Use it. It's 10 pts per revive and revivals make a HUGE difference to your team allowing you to better hold a defense position or a captured attack position. You'll scoop mega points and rank up much more quickly allowing you to buy better guns and shit.
2) Stay close to the FRAGO. If you kill anyone from the FRAGO or on the FRAGO it's double points (also for revives, repairs, etc).
3) Rocket Launchers work best against vehicles, not people. They can work ok... but you need a direct hit.
4) use smoke. When attacking an objective lay down smoke on the stairs so that snipers don't pick you off as you run up the stairway or into the objective.
5) get a mic... turn it on... use it. Talk out strategies, call out enemy positions. Use the proximity chat to your advantage... for example when your dying and surrounded by the enemy yell out for your squad mates to grenade spam your body... then watch the enemy scatter in all directions! :)
(or just tell them that their outfits look girly... and real cute.... that you wish you had chosen their faction).
6) if the enemy is camping your body... bleed out right away rather than wait for your medic to get killed while trying to revive you then hearing her calling you an asshole over open mic.
7) wait for a medic if you're down in a fairly clear area... it's faster than respawning and running all the way back from the base
8) Use your knife in close quarters... it's amazingly effective. You can't knife while reloading though... so only reload when you're clear or switch to your pistol.
9) Learn to press and hold triangle to go prone quickly... playing dead can sometimes save your ass (especially if you're in tall grass or near cover).
10) If you're in a vehicle.. keep it repaired (you get repair points for this also)

I've played only a few rounds, and this stuff(and Elsa's advice) seem to be key!
