About Me

Hi all, my name is Charlie! Welcome to my little slice of Destructoid.com. I am a lover of video games, and all things video game related.

I am a proud owner of all 3 "next generation" consoles, my favorite being the Xbox 360. I also have a 3DS, and my PSP is collecting dust somewhere.

I have been playing games since I was very young, my first system being a Colecovision. I can vaguely remember when we got the NES, I believe I soiled myself. I just can't imagine a Christmas passing without playing Ikari Warriors until 3am. I still haven't beaten Area 2...maybe next Christmas.

In addition to gaming, I listen to music and watch movies/TV. My favorite type of music being indie, and thank God for HBO (best shows ever!)

Ok, so I was just reading Mr. Sterling's fine piece on the upcoming Wii game "Zombie Massacre", and it reminded me of this idea that I had that should be embraced by the Video Game industry immediately. What is it you ask? Zombie Mode. Every game should have it, like, starting now. What is Zombie Mode? Simple, it is an additional game mode that replaces all of the npc's in a game with zombies. Just think, GTA...with zombies! Halo...with zombies! Resident Evil...with MORE zombies! And it doesn't stop there, Legend of Zelda, Street Fighter, Katamari Damacy, Barbie's Horse Adventures, all with Zombies! I dare you to tell me that this wouldn't totally rule. So, what do you think? I say we petition the major Publishers and demand that they start including a zombie mode on all future releases. Attached photos:
