Where to Get the Best Geek Garb!
Virtualgirl | 1:07 AM on 01.15.2008 27 comments

Alright, it is worth trying this at least once. If I get flamed big time, I might stop or I might just kick the person in the nuts if I ever meet them.

YES, I am posting a blog with an outside link. The truth is that I can’t just repost an article I wrote for another site here, hence the linkage. It is uber hard for me to write something and not share it with my Dtoid family! I am sharing the article primarily because I know all you fellow geeks might be interested in some kick ass new clothes. Also, I threw a little Dtoid love in the SplitReason bit…lol

Let me know what you think!!!!

That was a bad idea, especially since you are supposed to buy me a drink next time we meet. Now you are going to have to buy me a drink AND get kicked in the nuts...

Wow, that was very helpful. I own two Dtoid shirts that I bought from SplitReason, but aside from places like T-Shirt Hell with their snarky shirts, I didn’t really know about places to look for gamer shirts. If only I had money to buy them with...

Sure 13th! I will kick you in the nuts! LOL...

Yeah, the problem with all this great crap is that it costs MONEY! I need some of that...LOL

Ah, VirtualGirl, the funny thing is that I had already read the thing you posted over at GEN before you had even posted the link here in your C-Blog. I'm totally not just saying that to get out of a nut-kicking, either.

Ok, slight update, I LOVE YOU!
I'd never come across the bottom link which is surprising as its the most awesome and has persuaded me to part with some of my hard earnt (read Makro, Hell's Wholesaler) wages, and quite a substantial amount, converted it works out at about 230 dollars

@riomccarthy: The best part is that most of these places have shirts for girls!! It sucks having to contact sellers to find out measurements on guys sizes before purchasing...

@Dexter345: I won't kick you in the nuts, I like you to much!

@Butterflies and Hurricanes: Nothing wrong with double the love!

@binny101: Not yet. I will for sure get them all when I have $$$$

@GuitarAtomik: yeah, I want that hoodie too, it would be great even if half the people I know had no idea what it is...

@Zenith: ISN'T THAT SITE AMAZING!!!! I have no Idea how I cam across that bottom link, but I have had it bookmarked for a year or so now. I got my hubby a Zelda track jacket from there and they were great to order from! I don't understand why I have never seen half of the stuff in the store before, the shit rocks!!!

@wardrox: your wardrobe will thank you even if your wallet won't!

Thanks for reading guys!

ok, a bit of a sad update, i just spent 125 quid on clothing for me (and a few things for my friend) thanks for posting it but i dont have the willpower to use the site properly. woe.
[postscript] £125 is $250(U.S.) for any americans who are wondering and dont want to manually change the rate, ive been very lucky with the exchange rates for the past few years

Yes, but VG, the problem is that for all that awesome apparel, none of those sites allow me to order You into my Heart. (I even checked the express shipping options)

Also, awesome post! Thanks for making me poor (again) LOL!

How is GEN going? I hope well!

Ahhh Balth, you made my morning...LOL

GEN is going good! We have a smaller readership at the moment, but they seem loyal and really enjoy what we write. We can only keep growing!
