My and my friends were playing through Castle Crashers on insane mode. When we go to the giant bat the decided to level boost. You do this by going in the top right hand corner and throwing your boomerang. The boomerang gets caught on the bat and gives you experience. They went up at least eight levels before the boss died. This makes me angry in my pants.

Why would you want to cheat the game. Yea you will get to level 99 but then the game will be no fun. I just don't see why they would want to cheat. There is no accomplishment in getting to level 99 if you dont work for it. This defeats the purpose of playing the game. It just boggles my mind. Why would you want to cheat you paid for the experience. Grrr. Thoughts?

Sitting there an doing that to 99 seems ultra tedious, and kinda pointless. But, I could see some value in doing this in a local game, at least enough to progress some of your lesser used characters closer to fighting-chance level.

The fun is in the game content, leveling up takes forever sometimes and the game is pretty damn tough at times, with 45 seconds I can get one level up eliminating tedious grinding and I can have fun with the game.

Nah. There is around ten characters and leveling all of them to 99th level will take ages especially considering the fact that online doesn't work at a comment. You sometimes have to level up and this is better than replaying earlier levels.

I'm trying to see which character has the best magic(so far, Red/Blue/Beekeeper), because magic is a MUST for Insane mode. I'll be DAMNED if I'm about to level up all these characters playing through the game over and over. I beat it the original way with a friend last night and it was awesomely epic. Now I want to beat Insane mode, and I use game exploits to do it. Beats grinding the same levels over and over again.

Thanks for the tips! Seriously though, I just tried it on a few bosses, and when I killed the Catfish via this method, it completely fucked up the screen. I had to guess how to exit the game. Fortunately, no permanent damage, but anyone else who tries this should be careful.
