About Me
Hey I live in Illinois and I go to school still. My hobbies are reading, video games, watching anime, and messing around with computers. I spend a shit load of time reading about games and their reviews, probably even more than i play them. I am turning 17 in June which means I have not played any of the classic games don't know what people are talking about when they mention Kid Icarus and Chrono Trigger. My budget on games was very low before but now that I have a job I am playing all the games i can and i love reading about blogs not for the news really just to see what is going on and what people have to say about such things. I own a computer that can run crisis without looking like shit at least for me lol and i own a ps3 i am soon going to be adding a psp to my arsenal but kind of wish i would get an xbox 360 but i can't justify it knowing that there aren't many exclusives that i want to play and it's failure rate is so high.So that's pretty much me any other questions and you can go ahead and hit me up with a comment.

Thanks for reading!!

I'm not sure if the title is fitting for this blog entry but a big problem I have with internet bloggers is when they make a post like "stop buying used games because it doesn't give companies the money they deserve!" or topics like "Pirating games is bad don't do it!" while both are very good points they're pointless.

The whole reason I'm bringing this up is because I've seen a lot of them on gamespot's soapbox. In my mind these types of blogs are pointless. the mass majority of people reading these posts are most likely aware of the fact and lets face it if it saves people money they'll continue to do it. I'm not gonna lie I used to pirate games keyword (used) because i had literally zero funds for video games and my first ps2 was given to me as a present and not even by my own parents lol.

The point is people won't change their minds on these kinds of issues and we can clearly see that with the amount of games being pirated and the amount of used games being boughten only to save them an extra 5 dollars. The responsible gamer will not do this but then again there aren't that many in comparison to the whole gaming community.

So does anyone agree with this statement or am I just ranting?

I'll stop buying used games when games stop being so fucking expensive.

So yeah, no blog is going to make that possible.

I just realized the other day how expensive games are...'Cause I bought two at once.

I'm the kinda' guy that buys a game every couple months, so I don't notice $50 or $60 here or there...But I bought two and paid $120 and went "Holy shit...That's like 1/3 of what my Xbox cost...WTF? That's what my graphics card cost!"

So yea...I'm going to just pirate. Yarrrgh.

Just kidding. I'm actually too lazy to pirate.

Publishers should stop complaining, and start selling at a reasonable price. Last console generation prices were spot on.

I'm buying less and less console games thanks to the $60 price tag.

Also, the same PC games are $10 cheaper! Stop ripping off console gamers!

I'll stop buying used games when chain stores actually stock the fucking game I want.

I'm don't trade in games though, I'm way too selfish and love my collection too much to do that.

I agree with Alex, although its hard for me cause I have trouble parting with my games. Even ones I haven't played in years. I just get this feeling that as soon as I trade a game in, I'll want to play it the very next day. =\
