Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
Your most noticeable & also cheapest way to upgrade your audio would be to get a Sound Blaster X-Fi card.
Lucky for you, the TOP OF THE LINE, Cadillac of sound cards has a $50 rebate this very moment.

Not only will this card put out crystal clear audio in surround sound w/ EAX it should actually increase your FPS by reducing both memory load & CPU load.
So yeah I'm just trying to politely say that this post is not interesting but good luck with your rig.
Now if I can give my 0.02$ about speakers, don't look for computer specific speakers, just hunt for a good receiver and set of book shelves speakers. I recommend the Sony SS-LA500ED that's what I have with the subwoofer, years ago that costed me nearly 2000$ (a bit overpriced) but you could get your hands on a used set for a good price now.
an amp & expensive speakers wont fix the fact that on board sound is muddled compared to a good sound card. it would be like racing a top fuel car on regular gas.
