Just thought I would drop in and introduce myself...
I am Candace, but known to the gaming world as VelvetCupcake (or VampireKitten). I spend my time battling monsters and gaming has made a huge impact on my life. In reality, I live and breath gaming. It defines me. I have a huge passion for gaming, it's what I do in my spare time and what I do for fun. I find it amazing that technology has taken us so far, the realism in games is astounding from Havoc to Euphoria. We we're once a people who ran on 8-bit and now we run on 1080p, it's amazing how far gaming and hardware has come. I love games for the fact that they keep getting better and better, more challenging and more entertaining.
I write for various gaming sites (DigitalCupcake.net & GirlsEntertainmentNetwork.com) and work at GameStop. On top of that I also model and do gaming promotional work for Charisma 2. I consider myself a hardcore gamer and can/will play anything at anytime and anywhere. My gaming habits usually range from FPS to action/adventure games. I currently own a multitude of gaming systems: Xbox, Xbox360, PS2, N64, Nintendo DS, Gamecube, Super Nintendo, Playstation, and PC games.
That's just about it, I am looking forward to all of the cool things to do around here!

Did you seriously just say you like games because they keep getting more challenging? Are you sure you have been playing games since the 8-bit days, because I'm pretty sure games have only gotten easier and easier since then, not more challening.
