I just want to get this out of the way. I'm extremely excited for Soul Calibur IV. I'm a huge fan of the Soul Calibur series. It is, in my opinion, the best fighter on the market hands down. The combat is so well balanced and finely tuned it doesn't matter if you're an experienced player, or if you you're new to the game, anyone can pick up a controller and have fun. The simplicity of the combat system makes the game very accessible to anybody, but there is enough depth to keep those around who wish to master it. After reading some articles yesterday containing new information on the game, here are some features to get excited about: - Destructible environments - Armor can break off, clothes will tear - Finishing moves can be use on opponents completely stripped of their armor - 30 characters to choose from July 29th is too far away.

I think the rumor going around is that both Darth and Yoda will be available to download for the systems that they didnt come on...for a fee of course. But that is a fee i will gladly pay.
Yeah, I want this NOW. It looks awesome, and Soul Calibur usually always delivers. I'll probably have to get my skills up before going online, because I can see Cervantes players raping me all day long.
Ok, when you say "finishing moves"...surely you don't mean fatalities, right? I tend to leap to that conclusion when I hear that phrase. Fatalities would be cool, but they would seem out of place in a Soul Calibur game. I would certainly enjoy slicing someone's balls off with a lightsaber, though.
I think they'll end up being much like a lot of the throws, only much more stylized.
I'm probably going to get it!
Also, I would like to state that I will pay to download Darth Vader on the 360, it's better than not having the option to play as him at all.
