Hey guys, Kevin here.
I am going to be running an online event on October 26th called Zombiefest. This is a concept and brainchild of mine. It is a wild mix of a gaming marathon and a community event (but held online).
About VGRKevin One of us since 4:02 PM on 10.19.2013
I'm Kevin. Journalist, Video Producer, Co-host of the live show Video Game Rescue, Game Reviewer, Video Editor, Event Organizer, Shmup Enthusiast, and all around swell guy.
I stumbled on to the Video Game Rescue show by accident, and then ended becoming the co-host. We started with audio only, and then it moved towards being live through Google Hangouts or Skype. We decided we should expand beyond just doing a podcast, so I started reviewing games.
Since then, which was less than a year ago, I have a web series (Shmup Central) where I review shmups, have done video walkthroughs, have done press work at multiple cons (RTX and EVO), and also organize events (right now online only).
Is that bragging? Well, maybe a little, but it describes who I am and what I do. I have been at it for less than a year but work incredibly hard. I don't have any shtick or specialty (like being angry or purposely saying everything is bad). Those guys are not bad, but that is not me. I just center myself around hard work.
In the end, I am just playing video games like everybody else and am very passionate about playing games.
I know, I probably said too much for this, but I want you guys to know me and what I do instead of just wondering why the new guy keeps going on and on about random things that you may not care about. Hopefully I will get a chance to meet each and every one of you guys since I am a friendly guy.[img]
