I love Japanese video games and most of all my favorite games are Japanese. I grew up on Sonic and Sega and idolize Segata Sanshiro and recognize his epic greatness.

After we parted ways on Sunday with Niero, Colette and Rey we hit up several used video game stores. Upon arriving to the first I find several fucking EPIC things.

When I got to the first, I dashed towards the Dreamcast section (because it's what I usually do) and found this gem:

Chu Chu Rocket for 6 bucks.

Browsing around the store some more I find this:

A BRAND NEW Saturn controller!!! The box is beat up but the controller has never been used!

And finally... the motherload:

A boxed Menacer with T2: The Arcade Game.

Fuck yes.

I've never even heard of a Menacer before. Those are some nice finds. :)

The Menacer?! What the hell, I never heard of this. It looks really fucking badass, but what's up with the binocular things on top? Is it kind of a Virtual Boy situation?

Man, I think I still have my Menacer somewhere in storage. I remember playing the hell out of T2: The Arcade and that one weird roach game that was part of the collection of random mini-games which was included with The Menacer.

Oh and the binoculars were really weird. For some reason you could have both attached so I guess you can have super-ultra-mega aiming, only one attached, or just take off the whole thing and just freestyle it. I think the butt of the gun also came off, so it made The Menacer look like some awesome plastic ray-gun.

I know a lot of people said the Saturn controller was good, but...good God, they could've made it a CD player too at that size. XD

I obviously have never owned any Sega systems. =P

Nice haul yo! I think you have the "second" generation Menacer there! Mine has a longer barrel, and has a 6-in-1 game that had like Toejam and Earl in it, lol. Although, T2 is totally way more sweet!
