About Me

Currently a 23 year old male, Christopher Allen, aka Urashima, has been gaming nearly all his life. Quite partial to RPGs, Urashima has been known to dabble in many JRPGs, especially any and all tri-Ace releases. He's also been known to play a bit of World of Warcraft and Final Fantasy XI. Currently working two jobs, he whiles away his free time either reading up on games, playing games, and when the mood strikes him, he has been known to write a blog post or two, only to then delete those and start over, hampering the actual posting process.

It should also be noted that he holds a big interest in Anime, Figures, Drawing, and Self-deprecation in the name of humor.

Did I mention he's fat and very, very white?

According to this story on Kotaku, a new Valkyrie Profile game is headed to the DS. Titled Valkyrie Profile: The Accused One, the game features a male protagonist that seeks revenge against the Valkyries and uses "a magical feather given to him by the queen of the underworld." I guess it could be speculated that he was taken as an Einherjar when he died on the battlefield, and he curses his fate as a warrior of Asgard, so he makes a deal with Hel in order to destroy the Valkyries, if not all of Asgard. ...or something like that. :P Earlier, it was noted that the release of Star Ocean: Second Evolution would feature a DVD of trailers, one of which was an unannounced project. I guess this could be that project, which was mean my guess of a new Valkyrie Profile game was correct, just on the DS and not the 360. Now all we can hope for is that the game is developed well and it releases here in the US. If it does, then it's a damn good reason to buy a DS again after selling mine months ago.
