I know there are a lot of people who are tired of hearing the DRM argument over and over but there's a reason why we complain so much about this kind of thing. I never buy games at launch, but if there were three titles I would be willing to buy at launch, ever and without question, they would have been Beyond Good and Evil 2, Psychonauts 2 (or anything by Tim Shafer) and Red Alert 3, the latter now dashed thanks to DRM and my strict anti-piracy principles.
Watching this trailer gave me a wonderful reminder of what it was like to first experience the epic wonders contained within the Red Alert universe, until I remembered that I won't be buying it. Then again, it does cheer me up to know that I won't be missing virtually any of the legacy actors - Udo Kier (Yuri), Ray Wise (President Dugan) and Barry Corbin (General Carville) are all absent in RA3, as well as Nicholas Worth (Premier Romanov) who died in May 2007.
Is that the bad guy from McHale's Navy in the first one???
Loved Red Alert, Tesla coils ftw. Listening to the death march remix in the first one certainly brings it back. I don't know whether I'll be picking this one up, but I'll probably end up buying it... i dunno... also tesla
