We keep wanting to be considered an art form yet we tear apart one of our greatest masterpieces for its artistic choices.

And why is it Eternal Darkness got praised for using hardware against you but Deadly Premonition gets criticized for it?

Nobody accused David Lynch of forgetting his casting roles when they all swapped places in the last act of Mulholland Drive, or docked him for using a Sony PD-150 to shoot Inland Empire.

I didn't hear one complaint that Schindler's List was shot in Black and White.
