Sell all that shit and buy a snes.
Your Mom = Disappointment!
But yeah...this is all a matter of opinion. Yous ay the only thing that interests you on PS3 is MGS4, but Uncharted is considered the best game on the system at this moment.
And the 360...well you already named BioShock but Gears can be fun too.
The Wii had RE: Umbrella Chronicles which was some shooting fun and WiiWare titles just released today which should be fun.
Ball sack?
Buy low sell high on the BAWSAQ!
IF you're talking about the adventerous flood of non AAA games that the previous generation had, I think that's in part to the new-ness of this generation. I think that sort of thing goes in waves, wherein at about 2-3 more years, we'll see alot of top notch third party efforts in droves.
I'm pretty happy with the current gen, as a 360/wii owner
*sigh*
I've been busy buying a whole lot of quality games.
I don't see your point.
BioShock alone is better than all the PS2/GC/Xbox games put together.
*sigh* indeed
I'm totally feeling you. I just haven't been compelled enough by anything to warrant a console purchase, although that's not to say any of them are bad.
I'm just pretty 'meh' about this generation so far is all.

I bought six games for my Wii in the last couple of weeks. Not a single one was a Nintendo title, and they're all very fun.
So basically what I'm getting at is that it really comes down to how hard you are to please. Where you see a dearth of compelling titles, I see a wonderland of wallet-raping fun.
I'm perfectly happy myself.
I just bought a 360 a little over a week ago with 7 games throughtout the week. Assassins Creed is actually pretty good. Monster Madness, Dead Rising, Bioshock, GTAIV, Skate.
Personally I was pretty blown away when I first started playing them, I still love my GC/PS2/Xbox. All have great titles, but in the end the newer systems will catch up.
I am indeed dissapointed over this generation.
Every console seems to have its flaws...
Wii:
- Nintendo being Nintendo
- Lack of third party support
- Outdated hardware
- Crappy online
PS3:
- Sony adding stuff we dont really need
- Sony removing stuff we need
- Avarage online
- Expensive
- Complicated to develop for
Xbox 360:
- Otherwise a great console! Only ruined by the unstable hardware! I dont want disc read errors every bloody hour in the middle of GTA IV damnit!
- Noisy
- Too many shooters...
PC:
- At a decline
I think the Nintendo DS is the only console I'm satisfied with in this generation...
I am perfectly satisfied. I use the PS3 as my main machine and I am getting backed up with titles I want/haven't finished.
I'm savoring GTAIV by playing Assassin's Creed too.
As of this weekend, I'm now rocking a PSWii60 and I have no problems at all.
Just skip this generation dude. Gaming is sooo overrated right now. Bicycles, frisbees, and pogo-sticks are where its at!!
I think the 360 is still the clear frontrunner this gen SO FAR. I said it many times prior to the launches of all the systems, but I think the 360 will be the best system multiplayer-wise, and even single-player up until the end of the console life-cycle. By then the PS3 will have a greater install base and will overtake #1. The Wii will remain on it's perch, but it's technically in a separate race since it's specs are way under the other two systems.
