As if you weren't already pumped and primed for Way of the Samurai 3 (which incidentally is coming out October 13th here in the states on both Xbox360 and PS3 - YOU CAN PREORDER THESE JAMS, MAN!), I've decided to fill the precious blogosphere with videos from WOTS 1 and 2, as well as some choice promo stuff for the third installment. Sometimes seeing is believing, and I really want you to believe. So, see! Opening Sequence - Way of the Samurai 1 The first time you hear the main theme of the Way of the Samurai series. Really sets the tone just right for what the series is. Opening Sequence and Attract Loop - Way of the Samurai 2 OK. Not really as amazing an opening. The attract loop is good though. Yes, those are weapons and moves you can acquire in the game (don't forget: moves are directly connected to the weapon in this series) Opening Sequence - Zone of the Enders 2 Its awesome, just watch it. Commercial for Way of the Samurai 3 Clocking in at 7:53... what is this I don't even... Its no real life Mega Man, but its... yeah. Worth watching, even if you skip through a bit. This is totally Destructainment worthy. I mean... it doesn't even show the game! Kane and Lynch get more face time in this commercial...seriously. Japanese Trailer - Way of the Samurai 3 You get to see some gameplay, including non-weapon combat and what looks to be some brutal quick kills (hopefully from the tutorial...) Way of the Samurai 3. North American localization. October 13th. Both platforms. You know what to do.
