(Look, I fail at Photoshops) I swear, one day I'll learn to write real posts like the cool kids . . . Regardless of journalistic self-pity, I deliver to you this old link that I just found. So it must be new. http://www.mobilegd.com/symbian/wii-controller-s60-phone-motorcycle- game.html The pic on that site really sells it: its a cell phone game that requires a home console to play. These guys, however, look like they're on the right track though: Sure, its way better control than anything else that's standard on cell phones. And they've captured Nintendo's flare for cheesy game "action" moves! Zap POW! But really, you're going to feel like a tool whipping out your nunchuck on the bus to play your Tetris remake remix. This all kind of reminds me of those old timey newsreels where people came up with stupid contraptions that were supposed to fly. Their clearly on the right track, but they're doing it wrong. There are people with patents for mobile phone game pads. But I can't help but feel they're mostly on a road to post Wright Brothers mockery until someone comes up with the right answer. So, what say you? Does this give hope for a future where mobile phone games are really fun to play, or are we still making planes with 15 wings and flying off cliffs?

when these controllers reach jump jet standard (e.g. no need for a runway, like helicopters, but can still go fast. and yes i did take the metaphor too far.) then ill buy a phone and use it enough to warrant games and extra peripherals.
