Competitor site Siliconera has put on a design a Mega Man boss contest. I have been half trying to make a fan made Mega Man 9 game for years, so I already had a bunch of designs on hand. I entered a bunch, and one became a semi-finalist. It's under my fiance's name, as she helped with that one. The one I entered is called "Emoti-Man". It's a boss that obviously uses web speak and emoticons as attacks. The LOL is like ashotgun attack, the IDK makes Mega Man forget what ever weapons he's using, the I <3 U is a rapid fire love attack, and the BFF is a charging hug grapple move, circa Zangief 1998.

Emoti-Man's stage is a giant computer. You fight on the keyboard, and the keys actually work. What even you type on the keyboard shows up on the screen in the background. If you type "Owned" or even "Pwned" after doing damage to Emoti-Man, he is stunned with the power of your web wit and is totally open to attack.

If I win the contest, I plan to re-contest 2 out of 3 copies of the prize here at D-toid. So please, vote for Emoti-Man. Unless you think the other ideas are better. If so, then by all means vote for them.

For the record, I was going to enter Mr Destructoid-Man as an entry, but ran out of time. Here's my work in design sheet work in progress. Be gentle.

Of course he's got the eye laser attack. He also has a sheild move where sexy girls dance around him and protect him from Mega Man as he thrusts that pelvis.
